QUOTATIONS
Any price given to you is based on the information you give us regarding your kitchen, layout and dimensions. Please note that inaccuracies in or changes to this information will be necessitate a review of the quotation and may incur additional costs. Where affordable granite Tops provides a full fitting service which includes templating we will manufacture & fit based on our template which will define the items to be supplied and the final price. We require that the customer or agent to be present on templating to agree all items. You will be informed of and will need to agree any necessary adjustments to the price before manufacture can commence.
PAYMENT TERMS
A 50% deposit will be required before we start the fabrication and balance on completion BALANCE is to be paid on day of fitting Once we have started the fabrication the deposit is NOT REFUNDERABLE. Preferred payment methods Pay by card over the phone, or Bank Transfer
SUPPLY ONLY OR SUPPLY & DELIVER
100% PAYMENT AT THE TIME OF ORDER WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL SUPPLY ONLY OR DELIVERED. Terms under £500.00 50% deposit will be required at the time of order for all supply only or supply & deliver work for the value exceeding £500.00 Any outstanding balance is payable before transit of goods or on delivery if stated.
CANCELLATIONS
On orders cancelled before templating may incur a fee for ammonization purposes this is at the owner’s discretion. If templating has already taken place an additional fee of £180.00 of the deposit will be retained .
OWNERSHIP
All materials supplied by affordable granite tops ltd remain the property of the company until full payment has been received.
DELIVERY DELAYS TO A FITTING AND WASTED JOURNEYS
For supply & deliver and full fit services as we cannot be responsible for any unseen delays in delivery in the unlikely event of delays exceeding a day, we will rearrange a delivery date at a mutually convenient time. If we are forced to make an extra journey because no one is available to receive us at the property, we reserve the right to CHARGE for additional cost summarily if we come to template having been told that the kitchen is ready and it is not ready there will be an additional charge of £180.00 for a wasted journey the same applies if units have been moved after templating which invalidates the template and making it necessary for a second template visit.
SURFACE CONSISTENCY AND COLOUR/PATTERN VARIATION
Commercial granite is a natural material and we are therefore unable to guarantee its color or pattern. Natural variations are part of the stones character and are part of its beauty they should not be seen as a fault. The surface will frequently show some pitting in certain lights due to the crystalline structure of the stone. Engineered stone (QUARTZ ) is subject to batch color variation in a similar way to paints and textiles.
WORKTOPS & KITCHEN UNITS
Please note that is necessary that the kitchen or bathroom carcasses are structurally sound and are capable of supporting the weight of the worktops. Affordable granite tops will not be responsible or liable for failure of carcasses to support the weight of the worktops nor for joint break down or dropping of the worktops where carcasses movement is the course.
SINKS
Please note that we are responsible for sealing the sink to the worktop but are NOT responsible for any supports that your sink may need this is between the customer and Kitchen installer .
